Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Ivy League House. By applying for and residing in our premium student accommodations, you agree to comply with the following Terms & Conditions. These terms are intended to ensure a safe, respectful, and efficient residential environment for all occupants.
1. Eligibility
Residency is open exclusively to:
- Students enrolled in full-time or part-time programs at recognized educational institutions (universities, colleges, or professional courses).
- Residents must be able to provide valid Aadhar, student ID and enrollment proof at the time of application and upon request.
2. Application & Booking
- All prospective residents must complete the official Ivy League House Application Form, available online or via our office.
- Required documents include:
- Government-issued ID
- Proof of current enrollment
- Recent passport-sized photograph
- Parent/guardian contact details (for residents under 21)
- Room allocations are subject to availability and will be confirmed only after receipt of the initial payment.
3. Payment Terms
- Rent, security deposit, and any additional service fees must be paid according to the schedule provided in the Guest Registration Card (GRC).
- Accepted payment methods include bank transfer & UPI.
- Delayed payments will incur a late fee as per the policy stated in the agreement.
- In case of repeated delays or non-payment, Ivy League House reserves the right to terminate the contract and initiate legal recovery processes.
4. Security Deposit
- A refundable security deposit must be paid before check-in.
- This deposit is held against:
- Physical damage to property, furnishings, or common areas
- Unpaid dues or penalties
- Violations of the Guest Registration Card (GRC)
- The security deposit (less any applicable deductions) will be refunded within 30 days of check-out.
5. House Rules & Code of Conduct
Residents are expected to:
- Maintain cleanliness in both private and shared spaces
- Refrain from excessive noise, parties, or any activity that disturbs fellow residents
- Respect community guidelines on curfew, guest policy, and use of facilities
- Refrain from smoking, alcohol consumption, and prohibited substances on the premises
- Avoid damage to furniture, fixtures, or electronic appliances
Any breach of house rules may result in fines, eviction, or permanent blacklisting from Ivy League House properties.
6. Guests & Visitors
- Visitors are allowed during designated hours and must be signed in at reception.
- Overnight guests are not permitted unless pre-approved in writing by management.
- Residents are responsible for the behaviour of their guests and any damage caused by them.
7. Termination & Refund Policy
- Either party may terminate the agreement by providing prior written notice as specified in the rental contract (typically 30 days).
- In the case of early exit by the resident, rent for the notice period is non-refundable.
- Ivy League House may immediately terminate residency for:
- Breach of contract
- Illegal or disruptive behaviour
- Repeated non-payment of dues
8. Liability & Insurance
- Ivy League House is not liable for:
- Loss, theft, or damage of residents’ personal belongings
- Injuries caused due to resident negligence
- Residents are advised to secure personal belongings and purchase insurance if desired.
- Emergency services and first aid kits are available on-site, and designated staff members are trained in basic safety protocols.
9. Internet & Utilities Usage
- Reasonable usage of electricity, water, and Wi-Fi is included in the rental package.
- Misuse or excessive usage may lead to additional charges or penalties.
- Tampering with hardware, routers, or electrical panels is strictly prohibited.
10. Maintenance & Repairs
- Residents must promptly report any maintenance issues to the designated support team.
- Unreported damages discovered during an inspection may result in deductions from the security deposit.
- Routine maintenance may be carried out with prior notice during reasonable hours.
11. Amendments & Updates
- Ivy League House reserves the right to amend or revise these Terms & Conditions at any time.
- Continued stay in the accommodation after updates will constitute acceptance of the revised terms.
12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in the city where the respective Ivy League House property is located.
By signing the “Guest Registration Card” (GRC), the resident (and parent/guardian, if applicable) acknowledge that they have read, understood, and accepted the above terms in full.
