Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Jai Challa brings a wealth of experience to Ivy League House as the CEO. Previously serving as the Business Unit Head of Manipal Student Housing, he built and operated over 10,000 beds across Southeast Asia. Jai was a key driver behind the successful acquisition of Manipal Student Housing by Goldman Sachs, showcasing his expertise in scaling and managing large-scale student housing operations.
Michael Fredrick
Vice President of Operations
Michael Fredrick is a pioneering force in the student housing industry, having designed, financed, sold, leased back, and operated India’s first private purpose-built professional and student housing facility in 2010. Achieving operational rental yields of up to 25%, Michael successfully exited through a sale to Embassy Developers. His extensive operational expertise ensures the smooth running and high standards of Ivy League House properties.
Karthik Ramaiah
Head of Marketing & Technology
Karthik Ramaiah is the driving force behind our marketing and technology initiatives. He conceptualized, built, and deployed an ERP system specifically for student housing, leading to impressive results such as achieving 110% occupancy for a 1,378-bed student housing operation. Karthik’s innovative approach ensures that Ivy League House remains at the forefront of student housing technology and marketing.
Revathy Dayanand
Business Development & Sales Lead
Revathy Dayanand brings over 20 years of experience in hospitality operations and sales to Ivy League House. She has led B2B and B2C business development for leading student housing brands, significantly contributing to their growth and success. Revathy’s expertise in sales and her deep understanding of the student housing market drives our efforts to provide exceptional living experiences for students.
Vipul Bhakuni
VP Operations (North & West)
Vipul has a strong background in hospitality with 15+ years in Operations and Pre-opening Project Support. He has spent the last 6 years in the emerging student housing and coliving market in the driver’s seat, developing new markets and stabilising operations.
